
Recipe
Add 3 cups of water (750ml) in the cooker and put cooker on the gas. Add 1 ½ cups of water to the Abhiruchi Dhokla Mix (200gm). Blend gently until the batter is smooth. Grease dhokla tray with oil, pour batter into it. Steam in cooker without whistle on high flame for 20 minutes. Switch off the flame after 20 minutes and remove the lid of cooker immediately. Remove dhokla tray and allow it to cool completely for 5-10 minutes. Cut dhokla into even pieces with knife.
For tempting:
Heat 3 tbsp (30ml) oil, add 1 tbsp mustard seeds, let crackle completely then add sesame seeds and green chilies. Add 45ml water into it. Spread it evenly on dhokla. Garnish it with chopped coriander and grated fresh coconut. Serve with tamarind and mint chutney. Adding custard coriander seeds, garlic, and green chili paste to the batter to enhance the taste.
